How to set this up
- Switch the Web UI on. It serves read-only pages for a phone or another computer on your tailnet.
- Note the address and the certificate fingerprint shown.
- Press Pair a browser. A code and a QR appear; the code works once.
- On the phone scan the QR, or open the address and type the code.
- The browser warns about the certificate the first time. Compare its fingerprint with the one on this page before you continue.
Something not working?
- The code ran out: press Pair a browser again for a new one.
- The page does not open: the phone must be on the same tailnet, with Tailscale running.
- The browser warns about the certificate again: that is expected now and then. Compare the fingerprint every time.
- A lost phone: remove its browser under Paired browsers.
